Hosted at Alexandria Technical and Community College, this tournament brings together Minnesota’s best middle and high school players for an action-packed competition with a $5,000 prize pool. Register today at www.alextech.edu/battle. The tournament is presented by the Gardonville Cooperative Telephone Association and supported by the MN State IT Center of Excellence. This one-day event is happening on March 22, 2025, and registration is open till March 14, 2025. The event location is Alexandria College: 1601 Jefferson St, Alexandria, MN 56308. There will be 32 teams—four groups, seven matches guaranteed—and the top two teams from each group advance to an eight-team single-elimination bracket. The semi-finals and finals are best-of-seven. The tournament is open to all Minnesota middle and high school students. Teams do not need to be made up of students from the same school and/or grade to compete together. They also do not need to be part of a school-sanctioned eSports team to participate. So, if you are a Minnesota high schooler or middle schooler, grab your friends and start a team!
