The Alexandria College Legends men's and women's soccer teams took on Anoka-Ramsey Community College in a doubleheader on September 18, 2024.
In the men's match, the Legends earned a 3-2 victory after starting the game with an early 3-0 lead. Abdullahi Mohamud scored the opening goal in the 16th minute, followed by goals from Sakaria Mohamed and Francis Kodua, giving the Legends a strong advantage by halftime. Despite a second-half rally from Anoka-Ramsey, the Legends' defense held firm to secure the win.
On the women's side, Alexandria College struggled against a strong Anoka-Ramsey team, suffering a 7-0 loss. They now hold a 1-2 season record.
The Legends men's and women's teams will host Lake Superior College on September 28, 2024.
