Alexandria College Legends Men’s Soccer team’s season came to an end in a semi-final playoff loss to the Riverland Community College Blue Devils in Austin, Minn., on October 19.

Alexandria College Legends Men's Soccer team's season came to an end in a semi-final playoff loss to the Riverland Community College Blue Devils in Austin, Minn., on October 19.
The final score was 4-1. Though the Legends were seeded third and had defeated the second-seed Blue Devils in two regular-season games, the Blue Devils came out hard and got the better of the Legends throughout the afternoon.
The Legends battled hard to earn their only goal in the second half. Oscar Diaz (Pelican Rapids) scored that goal with an assist from Sebastian Centeno Torres (Pelican Rapids). Legends goalkeeper Edwin Lopez (Willmar) had 6 saves.
The Legends Soccer program is grateful for its second-year players who will be leaving the program. These students have helped create the foundation for the program to continue to build upon.
