Legends Spotlight: Sebastian Centeno Torres.

The 2023-24 men's soccer season has hit its halfway point. So, we here in the Alexandria Technical & Community College marketing department thought it would be fun to take a moment and get to know our student-athletes. 

Legends's midfielder Sebastian Centeno Torres (Pelican Rapids) took a moment to answer some questions and tell us about his love of soccer and what it is like being a student-athlete at Alexandria College.

What got you interested in soccer, and why do you enjoy playing the game?

Since I was little, I always enjoyed playing soccer with my friends. After playing for years, I started playing for my high school team and became competitive. I enjoy playing soccer because you get to meet other players who have the same passion as you.

What got you interested in soccer, and why do you enjoy playing the game?

My favorite team is Real Madrid because they have been one of the most historic clubs ever to succeed. My favorite thing about the team is that they keep going until the final whistle. 

What do you enjoy about being a student at ATCC and playing soccer for the college?

I enjoy being a student at ATCC because the learning experience exceeded my expectations. I learned so much from my classmates, instructors, and other staff members who have helped me. I am happy to be a part of the men's soccer team because the team gets along well, and we always have each other's backs.

What is your favorite Legends color (red, black, white, or grey)?

My favorite Legends color is Red.
