The Alexandria College Legends Men's Soccer team beat the Anoka Ramsey Community College Rams in Coon Rapids, Minn., on September 13.
The game was evenly matched with both teams making nine attempts on the goal. After a scoreless first half, Sebastian Centeno Torres (Pelican Rapids) put the Legends on the board with an assist from Jairo Martinez Coto (Willmar).
After the Legends scored, the Rams were able to tie up the game, but it was Ryan Pratt (Detroit Lakes), with an assist from Ricardo Contreras (Willmar), who scored the final goal, putting the Legends in the lead.
The Legends walked away with the victory with a final score of 2-1.
Legends Men's Soccer will compete at home against the Riverland Community College Blue Devils on Sept. 23, at 2:00 p.m.
