Alexandria Legends Men's Golf team finish strong at the Eagle Fall Class.

The Alexandria Legends Men's Golf team wrapped up their fall season in style during the Eagle Fall Classic at the Amana Colonies Golf Club, Amana, Iowa, on October 14, 2024.

They competed against several NJCAA top-ranked teams. The Legends finished fifth overall. They competed in two rounds, scoring 306 in round one and 310 in round two, finishing with a total score of 616.

Justin Orn led the way for the Legends, delivering a solid performance to claim 4th place individually. Orn shot a +4 overall, carding a 73 in the first round and a 75 in the second, demonstrating consistency on the course.

Other notable finishes for the Legends included Brady Schwinghammer (+11, round one 78, round two 77) who tied for 16th and Nixon Harrier (+13, round one 75, round two 81) who secured 21st place. Luke Ashbrook also finished strong with a +13 (round one 80, round two 77), while Joey Sonaglia battled through the second round with an 87.

As the fall season concludes, the Legends' NJCAA DII national ranking of 18th sets the stage for an exciting spring campaign. The team is excited to use the winter to prepare for a great tournament season in the spring.

With a strong showing across the region, the Legends are hopeful to earn a bid to the National Championship in May.
