The Legends Men’s Golf team start the season strong at the Spartan Invitational.

The Alexandria College Legends men's golf team kicked off their 2024-2025 season with a commanding performance during the Spartan Invitational Golf Tournament at the Pebble Lake Golf Club, Fergus Falls, Minn., on September 6.

The Legends secured first place with a team score of 295, finishing by a margin of 9 strokes. They competed against teams from M State Fergus Falls, Dickinson State, Mayville State, and U of MN-Morris.

Team Results:

• Alexandria College Team 1: 295 – 1st place
• Alexandria College Team 2: 324 – 5th place

Freshman Drew Imdieke made an immediate impact in his debut by playing in and winning a one-hole playoff to claim the individual title first place with a score of 71.

In addition to Imdieke's standout performance, teammates Justin Orn (73), Luke Ashbrook (74), Brady Schwinghammer (77), and Noah Falteysek (77) also secured top 10 finishes, demonstrating the Legends depth of talent. The Legends claimed 6 of the top 10 spots.
