Bio

Alexander Walcott, aka Isolate, is dedicated to developing student-athletes in and out of the game. Walcott has four years of experience competing professionally in Halo 5. During those years, Walcott had the privilege and honor of being invited and traveling to numerous tournaments.

At the peak of his professional gaming career, he was ranked 44th on the global leaderboards for Halo 5. He won multiple in-person FFA (free for all) tournaments hosted by Microsoft, online tournaments hosted by MLG (Major League Gaming), and Gamebattles. His greatest achievement was competing in the FFA Worlds Finals in Seattle, where he placed 12th out of 144 players.

Walcott graduated from Alexandria Technical College in 2021 with a degree in law enforcement. After his Halo career, Walcott began exploring other games like League of Legends and Apex Legends. After winning multiple online League of Legends tournaments with his team, he started coaching friends to improve their game. After seeing a lot of success and helping his friends reach higher ranks, Walcott realized he had a passion for coaching.

While this will be his first official coaching position, Walcott believes he has the knowledge, experience, and drive to make the ATCC eSports team excel. His coaching philosophy revolves around resilience, communication, and teamwork. Walcott believes that success in eSports translates to success in life. He strives to instill values of dedication, personal growth, and sportsmanship in all his athletes.

When Walcott is not coaching, he enjoys reading (mostly fantasy), running, and playing hockey. He believes in maintaining a balanced life, which he also encourages his athletes to strive for.
