Legends pitcher Jalen Vorpahl and third baseman Chuck Hackett were named the MCAC Central Division Baseball Athletes of the Week for April 10-16, 2023. The Legends Baseball team is currently ranked 14 in the nation on the NJCAA DIII Baseball Rankings.

Vorpahl

Alexandria Technical & Community College left-handed pitcher, Jalen Vorpahl, earned the MCAC Central Division Baseball Pitcher of the Week honor. Vorpahl was 1-0 throwing a 5-inning complete game 2-hit shutout. He struck out 8 and didn't give up a run or walk.

Hackett

Chuck Hackett, third baseman for Alexandria Technical & Community College, earned the week's MCAC Central Division Baseball Position Player of the Week award. Hackett went 5 for 8 from the plate, a .625 batting average, with one home run, a double, 4 RBI, and 3 runs scored.
