Legends eSports program is growing and helping draw in students.

The Alexandria Technical and Community College Legends eSports team is now a part of the National Association of Collegiate eSports (NACE).

The 2023-2024 school year marks the inaugural season that the Legends will be competing in NACE. This move is one of many the college has taken to grow and develop its eSports team.

"We were told that if we were going to have an eSports program then we should do it right and not head into the first meeting wondering how we could curve the budget," said Sean Johns, Alexandria College athletic director. "The development of the school's athletic programs helps in drawing students to Alexandria College. Athletics like eSports also keep students engaged and involved."
