Alex Jinkins enters his third year as the primary hitting and catching coach for the Legends. In 2024, Jinkins helped lead one of the best offenses in the country; posting a .937 Team OPS and slugging 28 Home Runs. Under Jinkins' leadership, 4 Legends hitters moved on to the Division-II level in 2024. Jinkins' collegiate playing career spanned 5 seasons as a catcher for the University of Wisconsin-Stout and St. Cloud Community and Technical College. From 2017-2018 at St. Cloud, Jinkins posted a career .353 Batting Average across 150 At-Bats. His prep career took place at Altoona High School in Wisconsin, where he earned All-Conference honors three times. Jinkins is a private hitting instructor and coach for the Minnesota Swing Kings, a travel baseball team & baseball training program headquartered in Central Minnesota.
